On Marathon Sports’ massive rebrand, SATISFY x adidas is looming, and there’s a new Raide Research gem, and everything else that came out this past week.
I want running brands here in the US to adopt the Uniqlo model and build a team of sub elites who also work in house. Put ‘em up in a house in Flag, worse case you get a great long term employee, best case you get a serious contender!
I'm hearing that vintage is out and Japanese corporate running team gear is in (I've been hunting down Subaru x Ons kit for years). Ran to Japan on YouTube also has some good content around this. He's trained with some different companies
Also, the Marathon redesign just makes me sad, looks like a tech 2.0 company. Interesting timing when nostalgia and "anti-design" are gaining steam to counter everything being AI influenced now.

I do not dream of labor, I want to slack off at work and run 95 miles a week, and get slack DMs that are like “sick race”
You’re like 90% there once the leg heals 😉
Anytime I see Raide: I DONT NEED IT
Mainly bc I just ordered the new Janji shorts with the integrated “belt”.

Vintage is out, working a fake job to run more is in. Let me be pro without being pro 😂
While we're at it bring Ekidens to the US so we have races to compete in
Rachel’s shirt was all Precision - her entire team was wearing that style all week.
Awh that rocks! Love that they made her a fun cabana shirt. Doing something a lil off the beaten path vs a generic tee or singlet
That Raide vest has some perplexing features.

very specific choices to be used in a very specific way
Think anyone at Marathon would notice if I flipped the logo upside-down and used it for WIRE?
