Bandit has been doing the most on marketing, and their recent store announcement was super fun. Check it out! Edit: it’s opening in LA next door to Renegade❣️
We can finally see the ROCKER from SATISFY. Previously at “The Running Event” it was heavily guarded and photos forbidden…
Veja and Cesar Villalba are releasing a Condor 3 ADV Off Road, Veja’s first trail shoe, on March 13th. Cesar is an endurance athlete influencer and creative directory with his hand in a lot of different pots. Cesar has worked with a bunch of cool brands including LouEQPT, Article One, and Giordana.
These Cinelli (cycling brand) x Oakley sunglasses are weird funked out heaters that make me miss late 90s cycling fashion.

Unna’s Stripey Spring Line
Unna is a lighthearted, fashion forward Swedish running brand founded by John-Ruben Holtback in 2020. Their community is built around the “Smiles Run Club.” Their spring capsule was highlighted by a set of punchy striped long sleeve tees made in a synthetic blend (feat. thumb holes). These certainly fit the more whimsical style of the brand and could be easily warn beyond your run. The hand drawn logo on the back is a bit large for my taste, but I like the effect.

Quiet Luxury, Literary Sport
Literary Sport is a luxury tier, art adjacent lifestyle meets running brand that targets the wealthier, older running clientele that don’t want to identify solely as a runner. It’s the stealth wealth brand of running (for now) in that most of the apparel – no logos, expensive European and Japanese fabrics, understated colors. Most of the items could easily be worn shopping for groceries or on a brisk walk through the neighborhood.
The latest season adds some spring ready wear, including my favorite piece: a sheer windbreaker coming in a dulled baby blue and parchment. The translucent windbreaker is having a moment in running and I want one (but maybe not for $355).

I think that the audience that I feel I can connect to, are people living in the art or fashion space, where running is a part of their life, but maybe it's not the defining part.
There was also a funny shot at SATISFY towards the end:
I don't want to spend $200 on a t-shirt if there are massive logos or holes in it or things that are not wearable outside of sport.
Upcoming Releases
Satisfy’s Latest Breaking News
SATISFY’s first home grown shoe The ROCKER arrives July 1 of 2025 for $280. I first mentioned the ROCKER in #14 from their teaser around TRE in November. While industry heads were able to sneak a peek, only this past weekend were official images and a material teardown released. Unclear if these will also be released in women’s sizing, still waiting on a response.
I overall like the look of the shoe, and the design feels in line with their recent collab on the Hoka Mafate Speed 4 Lite: coffee brown-ish with mixed darker overlays on the ripstop nylon upper. This 3D molded midsole sealed to a abrasion-resistant lightweight upper seems to be the trend amongst the high end trail shoes coming from NNormal, Norda, and the like. The toe has a bit of protection with seemingly a dip around it adding structure. The outsole is a unique circular lug which reminds me a lot of the New Balance Trail Minimus. At this price point (and high tech look) I’d be surprised if these make their way into lifestyle. The upcoming Norda 005 (March 13, $325).
The design was done with help from Paris-based design firm Foarms, which has worked on Salomon, Arc’teryx, Moncler, and other sporting brands. Per usual, SATISFY did a great job marketing the tech here. The technical storytelling is as important as the performance, especially when they’re using technology thats fractionally different from other established brands. Not to say the components used aren’t great—Nova brand Nylon 66, a custom blend PEBA-EVA foam by Arkema, and a unique pattern outsole by Vibram—but nothing groundbreaking here in terms of actual tech. It’s sleek look, and how it comes together for on foot performance will separate it from the pack.
SATISFY is already looking ahead:
“We’re already working on a road shoe and other models to expand the range,” Auvinet said. The company has set a goal for footwear to contribute to half of Satisfy’s revenue in the next five years. - from BoF article by Julia Lebosse

Puma x Saysky collab coming March 13th
Puma and Saysky collaborated on a new capsule featuring Puma’s most popular running models and some limited apparel. Overall the shoes look clean if a bit bland, I like the soft pink ones best and enjoy the handwritten branding on the side. For the apparel, interesting that they chose a Japanese print making motif for the collection between a German and Scandi brand, but it looks good.

For Saysky, this makes sense as they only make apparel and can sell another product to their existing customers. Puma is a massive company so it adds some legitimacy to Saysky’s brand.
For Puma, it seems part of a larger strategy to break into the various running subcultures. Puma partnered with a number of more niche brands across a few sports now, most recently leaning into HYROX, and previously collabing with streetwear adjacent brand 247 Represent. I don’t rate either of those as “real” running brands, but it seems like they’re identifying culturally relevant players in the running space to break in, and striking a chord with the those communities. Most brands aren’t great at tapping into trends quickly, and Puma identified the right players so kudos to them.
Norda’s race shoe, the 005 coming March 13
Made with 100% Arnitel foam that the R&D team re-engineered to make more durable, Dyneema upper, and the first shoe to use Vibram‘s Megagrip Elite. It’s shockingly light for a trail racer. While this shoe is a premium price point of $325, it’s designed for ultra marathons and multi-stage trail races so has to withstand 500+ miles of raicing. So far reviews have been largely positive.
Tiempos Running SS25
Previously teased their Spring line from Paris Fashion week posted in #21, but an updated jacket and some new sleeves coming for Tiempos Running on March 13. The collection features a merino wool t-shirt, khaki micro perforated 3” shorts, 2 different cotton long sleeve waffles, a ripstop hat, and some new 100% cotton graphic tees. Tiempos toes the line of gorp-y—running brand pretty well and has a good grip on what their customer base wants. Natural fabrics are in and people want clothing that looks cool and can perform decently well.
