A great list. I’m here for the men’s mesh. Texture in sportswear is such a vibe and it’s growing. Also, the Marlboro race singlet is kinda fun.

Sidebar: Satisfy’s influence continues to run deep! The Hoka x Levi’s chain stitch is the same as what Satisfy did for the ranch shirts. Love the look of Dust and thanks for putting it on my radar. It’s also quite similar to Satisfy, and its stitch-detail T-shirts look similar to Tiempos. No shade to them as it looks like nice product, but I’d love to see new brands forge a truly new identity instead of offering customers newer versions of what’s already out there. Keen to hear your smart thoughts on this!

Hey Grace, Zach from Dust here. Appreciate the thoughtful take. Western and punk vibes are definitely having a moment across a lot of fashion verticals, and Satisfy has done a stellar job with their recent output. But Dust is coming at it from a different angle. More outlaw, 90s skate and surf, gritty Americana. Less Parisian edge, more dirt under the nails. We'll have some new silhouettes too.

Totally hear you on the call for fresh identities. We’re still early, but that’s the bar we’re holding ourselves to as a brand. Appreciate you taking the time to dig in. I think you’ll like the women’s collection coming in 2026 too 👀

Appreciate your reply and excited to see what you do in the space, especially with the women’s! Trail has so much momentum and it’s exciting to hear that a dedicated women’s line is coming so soon, especially. Would love to chat more.

Thanks Grace! Ditto on the mesh, seems pretty functional too.

I suppose it could be SATISFY! Chain stitch on denim jackets (and pearl snap button ups) in western wear was a big fad until the 80s. Hoka referencing Levi's early involvement in WS100 in the late 70s would feel lacking without patches, embroidery, and honestly wish there was some fringe. H Bar C made some awesome shirts that now go for a small fortune on eBay.

I hear you - and fringe would have been amazing. The western skew on sportswear is getting really interesting. Those Nike embroidered Levi’s at The Loop… I want.

Mesh for men is also kinda interesting as it plays into the 90s - it’s both punk and boyband, depending on how it’s styled?

Solid roundup! Yes, “X” = carbon in Hoka shoe nomenclature. (Interesting, though, that On didn’t think carbon was necessary …) As for the rejuvenated Nike ACG, back in the forefront again (for the 6th time since its launch in 1988?!? 😂), seems to be where its trail gear will live.

So is Nike Trail dead having been replaced by ACG?

Hard to say, but have yet to see any new Nike Trail gear for 2026.
